HOW TO HANG CURTAINS WITH DIFFERENT HEADINGS
PENCIL PLEATS
Pencil pleat is one of the simplest, most versatile of curtain headings. It works well with print, plains and most different textures.
How to set up:
- Tie the cord at one end
- Measure the window before gathering to make sure that each side of the curtain is equal and meet in the middle of the window once they are hung.
- Pull the cord evenly and gently so that the pleats will be nice and straight.
- Insert the hooks
- Hang the curtains up
EYELET AND GROMMET
Eyelet curtains and grommet curtains have an even number of holes that are attached to the curtain track.
They are generally very easy to hang. You simply insert each of the eyelet rings into the pole evenly.
Tips: the edge of the curtains faces towards the window or door.
ROD POCKET
Rod pocket is a basic curtain style with a sewn-in rod pocket at the top of each curtain panel. To hang, you simply insert the rod pocket into the track
PLEATED CURTAINS:
Measure the distance from the top of the hook to the top of the curtain hardware
Line up a hook next to 1 pleat using the measurement you just took.
Put the rest of the hooks in along each pleat and at each end
